Carolina Licon – Mexican, Canadian artist
Carolina Licon is a contemporary and abstract artist from Chihuahua, Mexico. She said “I have always been fascinated with poetry, books, and art since I was a little girl. I love them so much that I started to draw and paint as young as I can remember. Painting has allowed me to bring ideas and emotions to life and, more importantly, share my personal life experiences. As an artist and as a woman, I hope to share my passion for life and all of its adversities on this website.
As part of my career, I have held collective exhibitions between Mexico and Canada. As a current member of the Art Association of the city of Port Moody in Canada, I have been given the opportunity to grow artistically and to show my Mexican essence in this country. Thanks to this organization, my work has been appreciated by diverse groups of people and purchased for private collections. Each painting I create reflects the vivid colours and love I have towards my beautiful Mexico and Canada, the country that opened its arms to my family and heart”.
